The Community Pharmacy Scotland has reminded pharmacy teams that Thursday (Jan 7) is the prescription collection courier day.
The CPS has also advised pharmacies to contact it if the contractors haven’t yet received the next allocation of courier bags to use them from this collection onwards, along with their receipt sheet and the list of courier collection dates for 2021.
“As with the previous collections Parcelforce drivers will present their ID on arrival so please look out for them so that they can collect in a timely manner. They will continue to be mindful of any social distancing measures to allow the collection to be done safely between themselves and your teams,” the CPS has said in its update.
The pharmacy body has also asked pharmacy teams to contact pharmacy services team, if any community pharmacist has missed the collection.
