Haleon, a leading consumer healthcare company, has appointed Jo Cooper as the new general manager for the UK and Ireland, effective 1st January 2025.

With a decade of experience in senior leadership roles within the consumer healthcare sector, Cooper has a strong track record in accelerating business growth across several international markets.

Prior to this appointment, she served as head of commercial excellence for Europe, Middle East and Africa, and Latin America (EMEA&LATAM) regions at Haleon for over three years.

Expressing her enthusiasm for the new role, Cooper said: “I am thrilled to take on the role of leading Haleon’s UK and Ireland business, my home market.

Jon Workman, general manager Northern Europe, Haleon, commended Cooper’s outstanding experience and incredible track record in strong leadership positions.

“After playing such a critical role in delivering the EMEA&LATAM commercial agenda over the last three years, her experience, relationship with retail partners and growth mindset is perfectly placed to continue to drive the momentum of the UK and Ireland business into the next phase,” he said.
