Locum App’s services now available for Numark members

The Locum App’s staff booking and scheduling services will now be available to more than 4,000 Numark member pharmacies across the UK.

The Locum App is an award-winning platform that aims to change the way pharmacies book locums, replacing the outdated agency model and its high fees, with a fully integrated, streamlined, and more cost-effective platform.

The App connects pharmacy owners and managers directly with locum pharmacists, through The Locum App platform and a mobile app that is available for locum pharmacists to download to iOS or Android devices. This enables pharmacies to advertise shifts, which locums can book into in just a few clicks.

The company said: "All Numark members will benefit from exclusive pricing and will be able to experience all the time-saving and cost-reducing benefits of The Locum App, with a low, fixed monthly fee per branch per month with unlimited locum booking and no minimum commitment."

In addition to the locum booking service, The Locum App provides an integrated staff compliance and staff scheduling tools, which are included in the monthly cost.

Reece Samani, founder and CEO of The Locum App, said: “The Locum App partners with companies that share the same ethos as us and have the same vision. We do things differently because we like to innovate. This is why a partnership with Numark is fitting, they partner with companies that innovate and have a direct benefit to their members. We know The Locum App will do exactly that.”

Earlier this year, the company announced its partnership with Jardines Pharmacy, an independent chain of community pharmacies in its first step towards a national rollout.
