The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has issued class 2 medicines recall for Trimethoprim 200mg tablets of Ennogen with PL 40147/0083.
“Ennogen Pharma Limited is recalling an affected batch of Trimethoprim 200mg Tablets as a precautionary measure due to the observation of a foreign tablet, which is identified as Trimethoprim 100mg Tablet,” the drug manufacturer has said in an update.

The healthcare professionals have been suggested to stop supplying the batches of the product listed immediately.
MHRA has also adviced the professionals to quarantine all remaining stock and return it to their concerned supplier using their supplier’s approved process.
