New survey to review foundation pharmacy technician role

A two-week national survey to help review the skills required as an early-years pharmacy technician is being run from January 24 to February 6.

Part of a project launched jointly by the Association of Pharmacy Technicians UK (APTUK) and Health Education England, the survey will support the development of an attributes framework and define the professional capabilities to be developed during pharmacy technician training, ahead of new qualifications due to launch in February.


APTUK has invited all pharmacy professionals to register their interest online by January 23.  The survey would take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
