The Community Pharmacy Scotland (CPS) has asked pharmacies to renew the ePharmacy Verification certificate before its due date October 13.
The certificate is used to secure the content of message responses from the ePharmacy Message store.
After October 13, if the new certificate has not been installed, pharmacies will no longer be able to download new AMS or CMS prescriptions.
“All pharmacies with the exception of Boots, Lloyds, Superdrug and Rowlands branches or users of Clanwilliam Health’s Rx Web & EMIS Health’s ProScript Connect systems are required to download the replacement certificate as soon as possible,” the CPS has said.
