The NHS has extended to May 16 the period by which community pharmacy contractors can access MYS poral using smartcards.
Smartcard users must register to access the Manage Your Service (MYS) portal portal via their NHSmail login credentials before 11:59 pm on May 16. Thereafter, access to the portal for smartcard users will be withdrawn, the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee (PSNC) said in an update.
Pharmacy contractors must register to claim the services including NHS Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (CPCS), Pharmacy Quality Scheme (PQS), NHS Discharge Medicines Service (DMS), Community Pharmacy Covid-19 Lateral Flow Device Distribution Service, and end of month’ FP34C digital submission.
Pharmacy contractors can currently access MYS using either their NHSmail login credentials, or their NHS Smartcards.
Around 96 per cent of pharmacies in England are already registered to use the portal using the ‘Login with NHSmail’ method.
Before the current extension, smartcard access to the MYS portal was scheduled to end on April 18.
